Build a line card
A line card is the one page you hand a buyer: every manufacturer you represent and what they make. Keep one for each kind of customer.
How do I make a line card for buyers?
- Press New and give the card a name only you will see.
- Every line you sell for is on it to start — untick the ones that do not belong.
- Write the top of the page (who you are, how to reach you) and the footer.
- Choose what shows for each line, and drag your strongest line to the top. Buyers read top down.
- Save, then open the card to print it, save it as a PDF to email, or download it as Excel.
Good to know
- The text for each line comes from What they make on the manufacturer.
- When you take on a new line, it shows up on your cards marked New line, so no card goes stale.

A line card is the one page you hand a buyer: every manufacturer you represent, and what they make. You can keep several cards, one for each kind of customer. Let's make one for plant maintenance buyers. Give it a name only you will see.
Every line you sell for goes on it to start. You take out what does not belong. Top of the page: who you are and how to reach you. Buyers read this first.
Choose what shows for each line. Part counts make a small line look small, so leave that off. Here is what is on the card. The text comes from What they make on each manufacturer.
Delta East is just a division of Delta, so untick it. Lead with your newest line: move Kestrel to the top. Buyers read top down. Save the card.
The new card is in your list. Open it to see the finished page. This is what the buyer gets: your intro, each line with what they make, and your footer. Print it, or save it as a PDF to email.
Excel gives you the same list as a sheet. When it prints, the menus and buttons drop away. Only the card goes on the page. When you take on a new line, it shows up on your cards marked New line, so no card goes stale.
